Daniels 70th Week

Ever wonder why so much literary real estate was given to St. Stephen?

For it is remarkable, that the year after, A.D. 35, began a new Era in the Church, namely, the conversion of Saul, or Paul, the apostle, by the personal appearance of Christ to him on the road to Damascus, when he received his mission to the Gentiles, after the Jewish Sanhedrin had formally rejected Christ by persecuting His disciples. ~William Hales-A New Analysis of Chronology

With the martyrdom of St. Stephen, the prophet Daniels 70 weeks of years came to a close.

Enter Paul.

Question: Does the Biblical text imply anywhere that there is a break in the 70 weeks of Daniel?

Question: When then would the end be in the first century?

Question: What was the nature of this end?

My transliteration.

Daniel 9:25 Know therefore and understand that from the going forth of the command to restore and build Jerusalem until Jesus, there shall be 69 weeks; or 483 years.

Daniel 9:27 Then Jesus cuts a new covenant in his blood. In the middle of the 70th week the temple services will cease being effective[Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!]. Then there will come a beast, one Saul of Tarsus. His abominable actions would result in the Holy Spirit then being poured out on to the gentiles…The desolate.
