The Road to Emmaus follows the same pattern as the Book of Revelation. During the journey to Emmaus, Jesus patiently guided the two disciples from hopelessness to celebration, and also intended to nourish the two disciples’ faith to such an extent that they can see his real presence in the breaking of the bread.
The Road to Revelation begins with 7 churches in various conditions. Only two were described as faithful witnesses, followed by the revelation of Jesus Christ that also ends with the breaking of bread; the marriage supper of the Lamb.
Now follow the order of events.
